Kate Middleton and Prince William Attend Royal Christmas with Children (All Coordinating in Blue and Green!)

Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis joined their parents for the annual tradition

Kate Middleton and Prince William continue the royal Christmas tradition!

The Prince and Princess of Wales along with their three children Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5, joined King Charles, Queen Camilla and other members of the royal family in attending the Christmas service at Mary Magdalene Church in Norfolk . The holiday outing takes place every year – just one of the royal family’s Christmas traditions.

The family of Prince William and Princess Kate coordinated in blue and green combinations this year. Kate wore a blue coat and hat accented with sapphire earrings, while William and George also wore primarily blue. Charlotte wore a green coat, similar to the one her mother had worn last year. Meanwhile, Louis tied the family together in green and blue tartan trousers, a departure from his usual shorts and thigh highs.

This is the second year the Prince and Princess of Wales, both 41, have celebrated Christmas as a family of five. Although Prince George and Princess Charlotte made their debut on Christmas Day 2019, last year marked Prince Louis’ debut at a royal event.

Every year for Christmas, the British royal family gathers at Sandringham. Darren McGrady, who was a chef during Queen Elizabeth’s reign, previously said for Daily mail for the royals to have afternoon tea on Christmas Eve before exchanging “cheesy and cheap” gifts.

The family goes to church on Christmas Day, followed by greeting well-wishers gathered outside. At Sandringham House they have a holiday lunch of turkey with sides like potatoes, stuffing and vegetables.

At 3 p.m., they watch King Charles’ Christmas speech on TV, followed by afternoon tea with plenty of sweets.

Princess Kate also recently started a new royal holiday tradition. On December 8, she gave her third annual Christmas carol concert at Westminster Abbey, broadcast on Christmas Eve. The event was a family affair – Princess Kate walked in with Prince William, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, while plenty of royals and Middleton family members were also there to support the event.

As in previous years, Princess Kate and Prince William shared a new family photo earlier this month as a Christmas card. The black-and-white portrait-style photo by Josh Shinner shows the family of five coordinating in white button-ups — a departure from their previous casual outdoor shoots!

Earlier on Monday, Prince William and Princess Kate shared a Christmas surprise. They have released a new joint portrait of Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, apparently during the same photo shoot where they captured the 2023 Christmas card.

The black and white photo shows the siblings sitting on a bench, while Charlotte hugs the siblings.
