Kate Middleton and Prince William Go on a Royal Double Date to See Cher!
The Prince and Princess of Wales announced Thursday that they will watch the “Turn Back Time” singer perform at the Royal Variety Performance on Nov. 30 alongside fellow Swedish Crown Prince Victoria and Prince Daniel.
The annual performance at London’s Royal Albert Hall will also feature Swedish pop star Zara Larsson and will be something of a royal reunion for William and Kate, both 41, and Victoria, 46, and Daniel, 50.

The Swedish royals were invited to William and Kate’s wedding in 2011, and the British couple visited in January 2018.
As heirs to their respective thrones, William and Victoria also share a unique bond and are uniquely placed to continue the close relationship between the two royal families and their two countries.

The late Queen Elizabeth was also a patron of the Royal Variety Charity, which will use money raised at next week’s event to help members of the entertainment industry who have retired from performing or may be struggling financially. In 2018, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry also enjoyed a night out at the central London theater for the glamorous event, which this year includes an exclusive Disney Theatrical 100th anniversary celebration as well as other performances by British singer Paloma Faith and Chinese pianist Lang Lang.
After the show, both royal couples are expected to go backstage to meet some of the performers.
