KATE Middleton’s uncle Gary Goldsmith was read the riot act by her parents after he entered Celebrity Big Brother.
Insiders said Kate’s mum Carole – Gary’s sister – is “furious” and fears he could spill royal secrets on the show, which starts tonight.

It comes as the Princess of Wales is recovering at home after undergoing abdominal surgery almost seven weeks ago.
The palace is also understood to be concerned about what Gary might say about the royal family and Kate’s family.
A source said: “Gary said Kate’s mum Carole and her dad Michael read him about the riots.
“They’re not happy she’s going on Celebrity Big Brother.
“It’s infuriating for them. Kate doesn’t need this stress.”
But a source warned that Prince Harry and wife Meghan could be under fire from Kate’s uncle.
Gary, 58, has now holed up in a London hotel after arriving at the ITV studios yesterday.
He will appear tonight during the live presentation of Celebrity Big Brother.
Despite the family’s concerns, those close to him insisted he would only speak of niece Kate with tenderness.
He attended her wedding to Prince William in 2011 and her sister Pippa’s wedding to billionaire James Matthews six years later.
Our insider added: “In the public eye, Gary has become the black sheep of the Middleton family. Carole is his sister, so there will always be love, but they don’t see eye to eye on many things anymore.
“He said he didn’t have their blessing to enter the house, but he was going full steam ahead anyway.

“He wants to defend his family. Gary wouldn’t do anything to embarrass Kate or William, who he thinks highly of.
“With Kate currently out of the public eye and William with a lot on his shoulders, the last thing they want is for Uncle Gary to cause any embarrassment on television.
“Gary said he knew what he was doing and told his friends he would never do anything to hurt his family.”
However, he could set his sights on the Sussexes.
Our source said: “Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will more than likely come under fire as Gary has made no secret of how little he likes them.”
He has spoken publicly about his feelings for Prince Harry and Meghan – and slammed the former after his autobiography Spare was published last year.

In October, Gary said of the book: “I am particularly appalled by its vile confection of half-truths and outright fabrications because Kate is my adoring niece.”
He went on to say, “Kate is self-sufficient, resourceful and extremely capable,” adding, “She’s not a drama queen.”
Kate has not been seen in public since Christmas and is not expected to return to official duties until next month.
Prince William is expected to make public engagements this week as Gary embarks on a new career in reality TV.
GARY’S SCANDALS
A businessman made £30 million after starting an IT company, but became embroiled in a scandal.
In 2009, he was caught cutting cocaine for a sex worker at a wild party in Ibiza.
And he avoided jail when he was found guilty of punching his fourth wife, Julie-Ann, in a drunken row.
The Sun first revealed how Gary had signed his ITV deal in January.
He is CBB’s most controversial contestant and has joined celebrities including TV star Sharon Osbourne, music guru Louis Walsh and presenter Fern Britton.
Other stars including Coronation Street actor Colson Smith and Strictly Come Dancing’s Nikita Kuzmin have also been locked in a secret location ahead of tonight’s first episode.
Insiders said ITV thought Gary would become a firm favorite because of his candid speech and the insight he could give about his niece – who will one day become Queen.

He previously auditioned for I’m A Celebrity: Get Me Out Of Here! but television sources claim ITV backed out after fearing it might cause embarrassment for the palace.
Kate was a bridesmaid at Gary’s first wedding in 1991.

The footage shows her and sister Pippa, aged nine and seven at the time, waving outside the church. And in 1997, the teenage sisters were at his second wedding.
The opening episode of CBB will be hosted by AJ Odudu and Will Best on ITV1.
The stars will see each other for the first time when they get out of the car and enter the famous house.
Big Brother was previously shown on Channel 5 before it was axed.
The latest version of the celebrity series aired in 2018. The Sun revealed that ITV has rebooted it four years later.

PRINCESS Kate’s scandalous millionaire uncle married four times and became the black sheep of the family.
Gary Goldsmith made his fortune in IT recruitment, selling his company Computer Futures for £17m in 2005. Now he’s being paid a hefty fee to appear on Celebrity Big Brother.
The heavily tattooed 58-year-old pleaded guilty in 2017 to assaulting his fourth wife Julie-Ann outside their home in central London.
He was fined £5,000 and ordered to abstain from alcohol.
Prince William vacationed with Kate at Goldsmith’s eight-acre hideaway in Ibiza, called Maison de Bang Bang, in 2006.
In a 2013 interview, Gary said: “People like to think I’m the black sheep, the bad boy. I’m not really. I had my moments. I have a good heart. I care about people.”
