Katherine Heigl’s Friends Designed Eras-Style Shirt for Her 45th Birthday — Including a Nod to Her Teen Modeling Days

Katherine Heigl celebrated her 45th birthday in style – Swiftie style!

On Tuesday, the actress shared highlights from the party she threw in Utah with her besties, including the fun outfits they all wore for the occasion. In one photo, Grey’s Anatomy alum posed with her friends as they showed off their custom Eras Tour T-shirts. Only instead of Taylor Swift’s picture on the T-shirts, it was Heigl’s.

The design contained various photographs Firefly Lane star over the years, including footage from her teenage days as a model before she turned to acting. “Forty-five, Katie’s version,” the T-shirts read, nodding to Heigl’s age.

Heigl also shared photos of the “mystical” themed dinner decor, which included lots of candles, black and gold decorations, tarot cards, star decorations and other magical details. Her husband, musician Josh Kelley, also appeared in the video of the couple posing together.

“I am so grateful to these amazing women for making the trip to Utah to celebrate my 45th year with me!” Heigl wrote in the caption of the post. “It was a truly magical few days soaking up all the love and laughter and soul-restoring bonding. I love you so much and thank the heavens every day that I travel through life with all of you by my side!”

She also praised the event organizer, Clementine Design, “for turning my home into the most magical mystical space to celebrate.”

The company shared a closer look at the party’s decor details on its Instagram page, describing Heigl’s birthday gathering as a “spirited and magical dining experience.”

Last month, Heigl celebrated another special occasion – her daughter Nancy Leigh “Naleigh” Mi-Eun’s 15th birthday. The 27 Dresses star posted a touching tribute to her eldest child on Instagram, looking back on the beginning of her motherhood when she adopted Naleigh from South Korea in 2009.

“Naleigh Moon is 15 years old today. It’s hard for me to find the words to properly express the depth of my love for this beautiful, gentle, caring baby of mine,” she began the post.

“Nothing prepares you to become a mother. There are no books. There are no podcasts. There are no courses or professors,” she continued. “Real experience is all that truly educates and that can be…difficult, when you feel like you’re learning while going to a real parent of a child. It’s a big responsibility.”

Heigl wrote at the time that she felt she had “at times failed to be the mother I expected myself to be,” as she marveled at the incredible person her daughter had grown into. “I miraculously ended up with a daughter whose gentle spirit, sense of responsibility and kindness, beauty and patience amazes me,” she said of Naleigh.

“I wish I could take credit for that, but the magical young woman Naleigh has become has more to do with her beautiful spirit than me. I mean… I’ll take some credit though 😉,” she joked.

Heigl and Kelley are also parents to daughter Adalaide Marie Hope, 11, and son Joshua Bishop, who turns 7 on December 20.
