I was anxiously waiting for the weather to cool off so I could start shedding my cozy sweaters and jackets. While it may still be too warm for parkas, Katie Holmes has reminded me of a light jacket that I can throw on now.

While in New York, the actress was dressed in some of my favorite fall items: She stepped out in a quilted jacket, which is so functional and stylish for this time of year. And it’s a style that Sarah Jessica Parker and Kate Middleton have been spotted wearing.
