Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are the Queen and King of The Cut Premiere in Chic, Coordinating Looks

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are one loving — and classy — couple.

The couple appeared on the red carpet at the premiere of Bloom’s film Cut during the Toronto Film Festival on Thursday, September 5.

Continuing her streak of risqué style, the “Woman’s World” singer, 39, outdid herself in another striking look. She wore a satin black bandeau top with a fitted satin black skirt. However, both pieces were lightly covered with a sequined piece of fabric that draped over one shoulder to create the illusion of a floor-length off-the-shoulder dress.

Perry’s sharp gaze didn’t stop there. She wore her jet-black hair in a high bun with micro bangs, accentuating her dramatic look with winged eyeshadow and matte brown lipstick. The “Dark Horse” singer kept accessories to a minimum with just a pair of geometric silver dangle earrings.

Bloom, 47, let his lady shine by teaming a stylish black tuxedo with a faux turtleneck shirt.

Perry and Bloom’s evening date in Toronto comes a day after the first american idol The judge revealed new details of her and the actor’s split in 2017.

“We weren’t, like, really in it from day one,” Perry admitted of her and Bloom’s meeting at the 2016 Golden Globes during the Sept. 4 episode Call her dad podcast.

“I mean, he was in a way, because he was just celibate and he had certain intentions,” she described. Pirates of the Caribbean actor. “I was fresh out of a relationship and I was like, ‘I can’t go on like this. I have to go swim in another pond,’ but I just had to do a lot of real work.”

Perry recalled how they both did inner work and healing at a retreat at the Hoffman Institute before they reconciled. Now the two are engaged and share a daughter, Daisy Dove, who was born in 2020.

“We all have our strengths and then opportunities for growth. But one of his strengths [is] when I fall apart, he can step in and be that anchor. It’s unbelievable,” Perry said.

During Cut premiere, Bloom reaffirms Perry’s earlier claims and tells PEOPLE exclusively that his love language is “acts of service” and “showing off.”

Cut Bloom stars as a boxer determined to win the championship after coming out of retirement. It was directed by Sean Ellis and stars Caitríona Balfe and John Turtutto.
