For a moment, Katy Perry thought she might get some disturbing information about her fiance Orlando Bloom.
During an interview on a British talk show Lorrainehost Ross King joked the 40-year-old pop star once “slept” with Bloom, 47 — and, well, he wasn’t exactly lying.
“Before we start, I feel like I have a confession to make. I actually slept with you [fiancé] Orlando,” King, 62, said before pausing, “on the plane on the way back from New York.”

Perry, who briefly looked stunned, replied, “I like the dot, dot, dot about that.”
“He was behind me and he tapped me on the shoulder, so here we are,” added the King of Bloom.
“Okay, fine. Phew,” Perry said with relief. “Context is really key these days. So little context about everything.”

Elsewhere in the interview, the “I’m His, He’s Mine” singer revealed her secret to looking good at age 40: “A lot of doctors and Botox.”
Perry then gave a more serious answer. “My partner, Orlando, is a very good influence when it comes to diet. He eats so well and works out all the time – almost to the point where it’s annoying,” she said.
“But I like to swim. I’m a pretty good swimmer. I swim a really long pool in the club I belong to at home and I do flips in the water. I wear a cap and goggles,” she continued.

“I’m happy to discover the world. I’m happy to meet people, I’m happy to participate in culture. I’m very curious about everything and why. Maybe I should have studied anthropology,” Perry said. “I just love people and I love why they are the way they are, so I love learning about that.”
She added: “Really, when I’m on tour, it’s really just a big trip around the world to connect with all kinds of different people. I love being on stage, of course, and there’s something that really unites me about being on stage. It’s one of the places these days where you can find connection.”
