STRICTLY’s Katya Jones has publicly backed Wynne Evans following his vile sexual comments about their co-star Janette Manrara.
The opera singer missed the shock remark at the start of the Strictly live tour before pulling out of a show in Glasgow, citing an ankle injury.

BBC Wales presenter Wynne, 52, is understood to be “holding down” his day job after he was heard last night suggesting a threesome with mother-of-one Janette, using the derogatory term “spit roast”.
Despite this, Katya, 35 – who was partnered with Wynne on the latest series of Strictly – took to Instagram to share a cozy snap with him.
The photo was originally shared by Tasha Ghouri, showing her in a pub with Wynne, Katy and Jamie Borthwick.
Katya later reposted the clip on her Instagram, adding: “Tour fam [heart emoji].”

Last night’s shocking moment came at a photo call to kick off the Strictly live tour, when Wynne allegedly gave actor Jamie, 30, a suggestive look as Janette moved between them — at which point he allegedly made a joke.
He has since apologised, telling The Mail on Sunday: “My language was inappropriate and unacceptable, for which I sincerely apologise.”
The BBC and Strictly Live producers said: “We have made it clear to Wynne that we do not tolerate this kind of behavior on tour.”
Janette’s spokesperson said she was “unaware of this comment”.
Wynne previously came under fire on last year’s Strictly when he was seen groping Katya, but they dismissed it as a joke.
He then revealed how he was left “heartbroken” by the backlash that followed when he was seen with his arm around professional partner Katya’s waist.

She was also seen refusing to high-five the singer – sparking rumors of a row.
The duo quickly issued a video apology and insisted it was all an innocent “inside joke”.
