Keanu Reeves is being called “the king” after Twitter users pointed out the star’s endearing trait.
Astute fans couldn’t help but notice the John Wick: Chapter 3 — Parabellum star often posing with women while keeping his hands off their backs.
The first fan to point it out, Kemoy Lindsay, tweeted: “Lol Keanu is taking no chances.”

The tweet went viral and has so far earned more than 384,000 likes. Other fans retweeted, with one writing: “I’m a king full of respect I love you so much Keana.”
Another fan said Reeves wasn’t afraid of the #MeToo situation, he just believed in respect.
“It’s not about not taking chances,” the user tweeted at Kemoy Lindsay. “It’s about consideration and respect, qualities that Keanu has in abundance.”
Another person echoed the same sentiment, tweeting: “He is respectful. This is how it should be done unless you know the woman doesn’t mind being touched. Keanu should inspire us all.”
A third fan wrote: “He’s being respectful and I’m here for it!!”
The viral tweet comes after SBNation writer James Dator recalled an experience he had with the actor in 2001 when Dator was 16 and working at a movie theater in Sydney, Australia.
As Dator recounted in a Twitter thread, Reeves was in town working on Matrix series and stopped by to see a Johnny Depp movie From hell at that time.
“…Suddenly this guy appears in jeans, a leather jacket and a riding helmet. A full helmet of a strange equestrian appearance. It takes me a solid 30 seconds to ignore the helmet and realize it’s Keanu Reeves,” Dator recalled.
“I do what any sane 16-year-old would do and tell him I’d like to give him my employee discount. This means that I need to sign the sheet and therefore I have his autograph,” said Dator.

Unfortunately, Reeves didn’t bite. “‘I don’t work here,'” Keanu says, seemingly confused by my offer,” Dator recalled.
Later, Dator tweeted that Reeves had found him again and said, “‘I figured you probably wanted my autograph,’ he says. ‘So I signed this.’ He hands me the receipt from the concession stand, which he signed on the back. Then he casually tosses the ice cream cone into the trash can and watches his movie.”
It wasn’t until later that it clicked with Dator: Reeves “bought an ice cream cone he didn’t want, just to get a receipt so he could scribble an autograph on a 16-year-old idiot.”
