Nikki Glaser's Golden Globes 2025 Hosting Debut Served Up 10 Outfit Changes Alongside Jaw-Dropping Jabs

Nikki Glaser dressed to impress for her big night at the 2025 Golden Globes.

We entertain Hollywood’s biggest stars as we set the tone for what’s expected to be a whirlwind awards season — and looking good while doing it — it has to come with a certain amount of pressure.

But the comedian (40), who hosted the Globes for the first time on January 5, proved she was up to the challenge as she successfully made shocking jokes about celebrity plastic surgery and Ben Affleck’s “orgasms” while rocking a total of 10 looks, with the help of the styling duo Dani and Emma, ​​throughout the night.

Although seemingly excessive, multiple outfit changes have been a signature for award show hosts in recent years. Glaser – who was also there as a nominee for best stand-up comedy performance on television – was up to the task in a number of looks, from sexy plunging gowns to sophisticated column dresses.

But before we get into the beautiful dresses, Glaser’s house dress deserves a moment of appreciation. Hours before her Globes debut, Glaser went resplendent in a custom black gown emblazoned with the word “host” in glittering gemstones, which she showed off on her Instagram Stories.

Glaser began her parade of ensembles in a Prabal Gurung gold silk satin column gown, with a column skirt with fabric that fanned out at the sides and a rosette detail at the hip. It also had a low heart-shaped neckline. She wore Giuseppe Zanotti pointed heels underneath.

She accented the look with striking Buccellati jewelry, including feather earrings with patterned gemstones.

… and a bit of a stir for flashy dresses

In the countdown to the Globes, Glaser was photographed in a custom Off-White shiny metallic suit, which was meant to be a hint of all the sequined magic she was about to bring to the stage.

For one of her outfit changes, Glaser donned a nearly $1,400 floor-length gown from the collection of Rebecca Vallance and Nicky Hilton. The maroon design was not only covered in sequins, but also featured a plunging neckline, plus a bodice and cups embellished with gemstones.

Both of her silver sequined dresses included low necklines, but differed in the level of sparkle as one of the dresses was studded with smaller sequins like a chain mail dress, while the other had larger embellishments, giving her more of a mirror ball look.

And while it’s pink Barbie pandemonium from last year’s Globes wasn’t quite as present this year, Glaser had her own “Hello, Barbie” moment in a hot pink sequined number that sparkled from every angle.

At one point, she also opted for a strapless purple number that was seen during the CBS broadcast of the ceremony.

Glaser’s wardrobe was enriched with two classic black cocktail dresses that were modest, but just as sexy as the others.

One of the designs had a more columnar silhouette and featured an open neckline that caught our attention with its flower-like embellishments. Another featured a daringly low V-neck that showed more than a hint of cleavage and a mid-thigh slit.

Glaser also wasn’t shy about a few bold dress choices.

She made a fiery entrance in a strapless cinnabar gown with a bodice and a wide thigh-high slit at the side of the wide skirt. Complementing the bold color was an impressive pair of diamond-like earrings.

And if you thought leopard print was left behind in 2024, think again. Animal print, which made a resurgence last year with everyone from Sabrina Carpenter to channeling Fran Drescher Nanny to Rihanna wearing multiple variations of the print last spring, it was a big presence at the Globes thanks to Glaser’s fierce look, which also had a velvet texture.

Elle Fanning also incorporated the trend in her custom Balenciaga dress, a replica of the fashion house’s 1953 design, with leopard cups.
