Kyle Richards stands up for himself.
In the episode of January 7 The Real Housewives of Beverly HillsDorit Kemsley has confronted her friend and costar for texting her estranged husband Paul “PK” Kemsley in the midst of their split.
Noting that she was on “high alert” and claiming that PK was in a “very unpredictable state of mind”, Dorit, 48, asked Kyle, 55, if the two had communicated since announcing their decision to go their separate ways.
“My friendship with PK is all memes and jokes,” Kyle explained. “You know, he doesn’t share anything about your relationship or anything that’s going on. We don’t talk that way. It’s literal, like memes and jokes and stuff, and that’s it.”

“I mean, have I gotten a meme in a while? Maybe over the last week, maybe,” she added.
Dorit appeared shocked by the confession and told the cameras why she feels hurt that Kyle has stayed in touch with her husband.
“Kyle hasn’t even communicated with PK since we broke up,” she explained. “The point is you’re texting my husband when you and I aren’t talking, when you and I aren’t good. That’s just not right.”

The mom-of-two told Kyle that the circumstances of her relationship with PK are now “different” and whether they were on good terms or not, “that’s something I would have expected you to share with me.”
“It never got to the point where you guys didn’t get along, even if we were in a bad situation, you and I. Obviously, I’m a girl,” Kyle replied. “I would always take your side. There’s no doubt about that.”
Despite Kyle’s claim of innocence, Dorit was unconvinced by her attempt to defend herself. Speaking to the cameras, Dorit noted that if the roles were reversed, Kyle wouldn’t mind her contacting her husband Mauricio Umansky during their separation.

“Regardless of our situation, and I feel like we’ve made a lot of progress. Now, if I’d ever thought in the past, if you were bothered by me and PK sending memes, I never would have done it,” Kyle said, adding that Dorit always “laughed at it before.”
In her own confessional, Kyle added, “Where did this come from? We had already made up and I felt really good about our friendship, and now she has to go dig this up so she can have something. Are you kidding me, Dorit? I’m going to be really honest. , PK was a better friend to me than she has been lately.”
In the end, the two couldn’t see eye to eye and Kyle claimed she was “done” with the conversation as the episode ended with screaming between the women.
