Leon began his career in the entertainment industry in 1988, when he co-starred with Gelli de Belen in the Viva Films film I Love You 3 Times a Day. Later, he appeared on three TV shows: Eat Bulaga!, That’s Entertainment, and Agila. In addition, he signed his first recording contract with OctoArts International in April 1989.
Furthermore, he got his big break on TV when he landed a lead role in GMA’s Villa Quintana alongside Donna Cruz.
