Keke Palmer takes a trip down memory lane!
Tuesday, Not The 30-year-old actress took to social media to share a video of herself singing a song that is near and dear to her heart.
“My mom sang this to my dad at their wedding! I wasn’t there, but growing up as a party trick, he would put my mom on the spot to sing ‘their’ song,” she wrote in the Instagram caption.
The video showed the multi-talented star performing her own rendition of the late Natalie Cole’s 1975 single “Inseparable”.
Palmer admitted: “It wasn’t until I grew up that I realized she (her mum) didn’t write the song! She would sing it so well!”

The actress explained that her vocal abilities lack compared to her mother Sharon Palmer’s, but that she felt compelled to sing the song while at home with her little boy.
“Randomly while I was playing with Leodis in the living room, I started singing it to him. I guess that’s what true love makes you feel,” Keke wrote.
In the video, the Disney alum wore an oversized T-shirt with various dinosaurs and a cozy black sweater for the impromptu concert.
And now that Keke is a mother, she does the same.

The Emmy Award winner welcomed her first child, son Leodis “Leo” Andrellton, on February 25, 2023, with her ex-boyfriend Darius Jackson.
He was born once, although his parents did not publicly announce his name at the time, Keke said Essence how she and Darius came up with the nickname.
“It gives a black American story. We want it to be like — we’re not going to go for anything too unique. It’s not going to be Stone and Sand. It’s just like a nice natural [name].”
When the former couple decided to reveal his name, The Fraudsters the actress announced it via Instagram.

“Born during Black History Month, with a name to match,” she said in part.
Leo will celebrate his first birthday this weekend.
In December, the new mom shared photos of the two taking family portraits on Christmas Eve.

“Happy Holidays! From my family, yours 🫶🏾,” she captioned the trio of pictures on Instagram, adding, “He wouldn’t let me tuck his shirt in. And whatever he says goes 🙄🥹.”
Earlier in the day, she uploaded another set of pictures of herself and her child from the shoot.
“Santa Claus is here and he brought his favorite little helper 🥹 .. Merry Christmas 🎄,” she wrote.
