Keleigh Teller reveals a photo of her home she took while evacuating the Pacific Palisades fire.

The actress (32) and her husband Miles Teller (37) lost their home in the wildfires in Los Angeles.

On Thursday, January 9, Keleigh shared a photo she snapped through the car window as they drove, showing the white house intact while the silver SUV remained parked in the driveway. Big clouds of smoke filled the sky behind the house.

“💔 I filmed this ride.. To everyone who reached out I can’t thank you enough, your kind hearts meant the world, I’ll never forget them,” Keleigh wrote in her caption.

Another photo then captured the couple’s home after it was reduced to ashes.

“The community came out stronger than I could have imagined, pacific palisades, I love you beyond measure, you are a little piece of heaven, we will come back stronger than ever,” Keleigh wrote. “If you’re in the LA area, PLEASE come out if you can.”

“In between, we build homes, gather treasures, and hold fast to what feels like ours,” the message continued. “But when the earth shakes, when fire engulfs, or when the shadows of violence fall, we are reminded: none of this is truly ours to keep.”

Keleigh then concluded her post with a comparison photo of Pacific Palisades before and after the fire.

More than 100,000 Los Angeles residents were under evacuation orders as of Thursday, January 9. Officials reported that thousands of buildings were destroyed, but said Thursday that the death toll was currently unknown due to the ever-changing nature of the disaster. They previously stated that five people had died.
