Kelly Clarkson Covers Miley Cyrus’ ‘Jaded’ for Latest Kellyoke Segment — Watch Here!

Kelly Clarkson is a fan of Miley Cyrus’ music!

On Tuesday, the daytime talk show host performed one of Cyrus, 31,’s songs during her Kellyoke segment.

Taking to the stage in front of a studio audience, Clarkson, 41, performed her own cover of Cyrus’ 2023 hit “Jaded.”

“I don’t want to call and talk too long / I know it was wrong but I never said I was sorry / Now I’ve had time to think about it / We’re a lot older and the bone is too big to bury,” the American Idol began the winner in her cover of the ballad.

Clarkson wore a multicolored color-blocked dress for the performance, while her band played behind her. The studio lights were set to a soothing purple to set the tone.

“GIRL. Keep doing your thing. The covers keep getting better and better!” wrote one commenter on the clip shared on YouTube.

This is the second time this month that Clarkson has covered one of Cyrus’ latest tracks.

On Jan. 11, the “Since U Been Gone” hitmaker sang another recent release from Cyrus’ music collection — this time opting for “Used to Be Young” during a Kellyoke segment.

The world was introduced to “Used to Be Young” in August 2023, a decade after she dropped her No. 1 “Wrecking Ball” and held a controversial performance at the MTV VMAs with Robin Thicke. In the lyrics of the song, she looks back on her partying days and reflects on how she has changed over time.

At the time, Cyrus and Disney Channel co-star Selena Gomez came out with a nostalgic joint effort to promote their new releases. It featured a throwback clip of Gomez, 31, appearing in an episode of Cyrus’ hit television series Hannah Montana as Mikayla Skeech’s rival.

Both “Used to Be Young” and “Jaded” appear on Cyrus’ latest studio album, Summer vacation without endwhich was published in March 2023.

On January 13, Cyrus celebrated one year since the release of her single “Flowers”. The song was the first song before the release of the new album.

“One year ago today ‘Flowers’ started making people happy and that makes me happy,” she captioned a black and white Instagram post of herself posing with a flower.

“I love you. Thank you,” she added before signing the message with “XO MC.”

The single spent eight weeks at number one on the US Billboard chart and jumped to the top of the Spotify chart.

The song became the most streamed song in a single week in the app’s history, prompting Cyrus to thank both Spotify and her “amazing fans” on social media for the success.
