Kelly Clarkson had a hard time pushing for her American idol win.
During the episode of Kylie Kelce I won’t lie Podcast on Thursday, March 27, Hitmaker “since you left”, 42 -year -old, revealed that although people may have believed that the “millionaire” was after winning the talent competition in 2002, she still fought.
“After I won IdolPeople were like, “Oh, she’s a millionaire,” Clarkson recalled. “No. I didn’t. Like, they say a” million dollars “contract. No, I didn’t. They said I would get a car. No. I didn’t. Like, I didn’t get any of that.”

She added, “We played, like, festivals in the middle of a cow with — Including all our equipment. You know what I’m saying?
Clarkson said it was “crowd”.
“Every now and then,” she said. “In 42 years, it’s still crowded.”
Otherwise, in an interview, Clarkson opened up about his time in the performance season of the show.
“For all of us in that first season, we literally didn’t … I didn’t even know that it was a TV show until our third audition. Like, we were literally trying to pay the bills. We are like,” Oh, this could succeed. I could meet someone or anything else. “No one knew it would be nothing,” she said.
Clarkson added: “We were literally, like children – you know, for 19 years just tried to pay your electric account. You know, and afford a deduction on my car that was killed that I couldn’t afford. So that was a different thing.”
The “chemistry” artist also noticed how isolating it in the first season American idol was.
“I had no one. I was the first winner. It was hard. I don’t sound like, it was really hard,” Clarkson said.

Also thought about how some trainers were on Votewhere the coach was nine seasons, she was “really mean” after she won American idol.
“People who were really mean were coaches. You know what I’m saying? Like, hated talents. And they ended up in Voice ”, said Clarkson.
She continued, “It’s like, okay. But people were really cruel at first. They didn’t like it. The storm was a storm, it showed a talent. It was a very tasteless thing in the settlement industry.”
