Kelly Osbourne’s Son Will Have Both Her and Sid Wilson’s Last Names After ‘Biggest Fight’

Before Kelly Osbourne and Sid Wilson became parents, they weren’t on the same page about what to name their 15-month-old son, Sidney.

Kelly, 39, shared with her parents Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne on the Feb. 20 episode of their podcast, The Osbournes Podcastthat her biggest fight with her son’s father was over their child’s last name.

As the family discussed the “debate” over naming the children with traditional or unique names, Kelly revealed that naming their son with two surnames caused a disagreement with Sid, 47.

“This is personal and I never expected to talk about this, but I will,” Kelly began. “This is the biggest fight me and my baby’s father have ever had, and probably ever will.”

“I wanted our son to have both of our surnames, but he didn’t let me. We had a big fight,” Kelly continued. “I feel like I was forced to do something I didn’t want to do and I’ll never be able to forgive him for that, but we can move on.”

“So right now my son doesn’t have a double last name, but after a lot of eye-opening conversations and some couples therapy, he’s seen the light,” Kelly revealed. “We will legally change our son’s name to bear both of our surnames.”

“Well, that goes in his favor,” added Ozzy, 75, while Sharon, 71, applauded the announcement.

“We both made our child, so he should have both of our last names,” added Kelly.

The couple first met when Wilson’s band Slipknot played at Ozzfest, a music festival founded by Kelly’s parents, in 1999. But after 23 years of friendship, they went from platonic to romantic.

Then, to mark their first Valentine’s Day together in 2022, Kelly shared a photo of herself kissing her new boyfriend. “You are my best friend, my soulmate and I am so in love with you Sidney George Wilson. 💜,” she wrote in the caption on Instagram.

Not long after, the couple announced that they were expecting their first child together. In November 2022, the couple had a son, Sidney.

Kelly shared the first photo of her son in June 2023. Since then, she’s been sharing her motherhood journey with followers, including snaps from her son’s Thanksgiving and Christmas last year. For Sidney’s first birthday, she wrote him a heartfelt note – with an adorable photo of the baby smiling for the camera.
