Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos Go ‘Adult Onset Adventuring’ in Iceland: See Their Cute, Frosty Photos!

Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos embraced the winter weather this past weekend and headed to Iceland.

The couple, who have been married for 27 years, shared some updates from their adventurous trip to the island nation on the edge of the Arctic Circle. Ripa shared a series of photos on her Instagram Stories and Reel.

In the video, Ripa, 53, showed the couple posing together during a number of outdoor activities and relaxing in a cabin and hot tub – plus footage of Consuelos, 52, speeding around on a snowmobile.

She shared a selfie on Ripa’s Instagram Story Living with Kelly and Mark the co-hosts smile as they huddle together — with a scenic shot of the volcanic island’s mountains in the background.

“What a weekend,” Ripa wrote. She also tagged her husband and Iceland’s official Instagram in her Story.

In the next shot, Ripa and Consuelos are unrecognizable. The pair show off their matching snowsuits, blue goggles and black helmets. They posed in front of a small house wedged between snowy hills.

The duo then revealed why they wore head-to-toe outfits and posed on snowmobiles that made a clear trail across the snowy terrain. Ripa titled the story “Adventure at the Beginning of Adulthood”.

While summer is the most popular time to visit Iceland, winter offers some exclusive activities, including snowmobiling, exploring seasonal ice caves and viewing the Northern Lights or Aurora Borealis during the long nights.

During the few hours of low winter sunlight in the country, the couple also tried a little skiing. In the photo of the two, Ripa is seen smiling while wearing a blue snowsuit and balaclava. Meanwhile, Consuelos braved the cold in a red snow jacket and ski pants.

“An advanced adult-onset adventure,” Ripa described the story of the often physically demanding activity.

In between their snow adventures, the duo kayaked on the lake. In one photo, the couple are beaming in life jackets ahead of their sailing adventure. In the continuation of Story, they pose in their kayaks on icy water. Consuelos holds her oar in the background as Ripa waves to the camera.

She also added Michael Kiwanuka’s “Cold Little Heart” as the soundtrack that plays through each of the stories.

Ahead of the icy adventure, the couple shared a post on Instagram from a warmer vacation at the beginning of the year. In the video, the couple showed off their beach bodies as they stood in front of an infinity pool overlooking the ocean. Ripa wore a strapless black one-piece swimsuit with a white floral pattern, which she accessorized with a pair of dark shades.

As for Consuelos, he was shirtless in a pair of simple black pants.
