“Cleo painted the words, and we wrote them on T -shirts and Tote. Every year I design this, I try to think of a meaningful message – it’s hard to figure out just a few words or slang that embodies motherhood.”

The mom’s alliance was founded when Zaijfen found friends on her mom and me when she was pregnant with twins 13 years ago.

“One day we learned that in the foster care system they were expecting parenting. I kept thinking how much I was fortunate to have this group of women who would help me to understand it, and they had no one.”

Zajfen is proud of how much the Alliance has arrived from its inception, noting that statistics for pregnant women are still alarming: 60% of young women in foster care experience at least one pregnancy up to 19 years over only 33% of their peers who are not in foster care. Their children are even more likely to enter their foster care.
“We are able to provide social workers who are very specific to our girls,” Zajfen says. “We are also able to provide stable housing for them, medical, dental and mental health. We are truly dedicated to the education of our girls and Our dad. “Their support involves providing supplies – diapers, wipes, formulas, toilet supplies and other baby supplies, and even the season of wellness, pampering the mother and providing children’s care.

“I have been doing it for 10 years, but after losing my son, to be able to put my heart and energy in something bigger, it definitely helped me put one leg in front of the other,” Zajfen says.
“And these girls deserve it. They are amazing moms. They just didn’t get the right karate, but that doesn’t mean there’s no brightest future. They just need a little help.”
She adds: “I also want to show my daughter that it is important to do these things – kindness and restore to your community is important. He does not have to take the tons of money and he does not have to take tons of people. I think one person can make a difference with some specific. Someone did it for me when I was younger, and I could, and I am just for the right.”
