Kelsea Ballerini isn’t worried about the “other girl.”
Appearing on Wednesday’s episode Call her dad podcast, the “Penthouse” singer, 30, opened up about how the Internet pitted her against boyfriend Chase Stokes’ ex, actress Madelyn Cline.
“I’ve met her, I’ve talked to her, and she’s wonderful, and I think she’s wildly talented. And I think the internet did their best to make it really weird, and they just didn’t pull it off,” Ballerini told host Alex Cooper about to meet Cline, 25. The actress is currently dating comedian Pete Davidson.
She continued, “I’m thrilled to be on set and live with everyone. At the end of the day, I’m a girl. I don’t fall for bulls— and I don’t fall for, especially, a pop culture loudmouth trying to make a thing out of nothing. I think they have a wonderful working relationship and I’m excited to hang out with her. I’m vibrating.”

Ballerini explained that nothing with them is “weird” despite what the internet would have you believe.
“People want drama — they don’t want consistency and happiness,” she said. “The other thing is, if I was insecure about it, that says a lot more about my insecurity about myself and my relationship than anything else does. And it’s like I don’t feel insecure about my relationship and I don’t feel insecure about myself.”
Ballerini concluded: “It’s not strange. They’re all good.”
Elsewhere in the conversation, the “Mountains with a View” musician touched on her sex life with Foreign banks star, 31. Not only did she explain how different their relationship in the bedroom is from her past experiences, but she admitted that she’s “having a great time.” “[Sex] it was something that I always felt very… like my experience with it was very performative for another person as well. You know? And don’t let it be like that again,” she told Cooper.

“I’m having a good time,” the Grammy-nominated artist admitted with a laugh. “I’m just having a good time!”
Ballerini also admitted that she doesn’t understand how sex “can be the real link in a relationship.”
“I’ve always thought it’s just something you do because it’s who you do it with. You know? No, no, no — now I realize it’s a link for people,” she said.
