Kenya Moore Finalizes ‘World’s Longest Divorce’ from Marc Daly: ‘Excited for This Next Chapter’ (Exclusive)

Kenya Moore and Marc Daly are officially divorced.

“After more than three years of litigation, I finally got a divorce,” Moore, 52, told PEOPLE in an exclusive statement about the private mediation. “I want to thank everyone who prayed for me and lifted me up when I needed it most.”

She continues, “I’m excited about this next chapter in my life and being the best mom I can be to my daughter, Brooklyn.”

The Real Housewives of Atlanta the star concludes: “As a hopeless romantic, I still believe that my persona is forever and I know that I will still end up happily ever after.”

Moore told Andy Cohen on January 4th Watch what’s happening live that she considered the split to be the “longest divorce in the world” since initially filing in May 2021. Days later, she admitted that she and Daly “unfortunately” did not sign a prenuptial agreement before they tied the knot.

The Bravo star also opened up about her marital problems being made public RHO in an episode in early January Show in the Tamron hall.

“It was difficult to resolve our differences even during the show,” she admitted. “A lot of it was exposed, just that we didn’t agree or weren’t on the same page.”

“As I said before, I felt that my voice was quite muffled because I felt that I had to be a certain type of wife to match him and his personality,” she added. – That’s not what marriage is about.

On RHOseason 14 reunion, Moore confirmed that she is “still not divorced.”

Moore said the delay in the divorce didn’t come down to alimony or child support: “He’s not asking for anything at this point. It’s just at an impasse so until we get a trial date or a settlement, it’s going to continue.”

Despite still being married, Moore said the pending divorce hasn’t stopped her from meeting someone new — a sentiment she held fast to more than a year later at BravoCon 2023, when she declared, “I’m saying that right now : will be single and divorced before 2024.”

Moore and Daly married in June 2017 and welcomed Brooklyn in November 2018. They first split in September 2019. Although they appeared to briefly rekindle their romance in February 2020, Daly confirmed in January 2021 that the couple split up again.

Moore’s court filing May said she had been living in a “bona fide state of separation” since September 2019 and that their marriage was “irretrievably broken”.
