Kerry Washington and husband Nnamdi Asomugha are glowing!
The couple, who are usually tight-lipped about their relationship, had a glamorous date at Vanity Fair’s 2024 Oscar Party on Sunday.
As she walked the red carpet, Washington, 47, smiled as she snapped a photo of her husband, 42, who rested on a glass wall as he posed for another camera.
The actor and former NFL player, 42, was elegant and simple in a classic black tuxedo.
The Scandal The alum, meanwhile, was dressed in a strapless black Giambattista Valli gown that featured a tulle skirt. She also wore a diamond necklace and matching earrings and pulled her hair back into a ponytail.

The couple also posed for pictures with co-stars John Legend and Chrissy Teigen. The model, 38, wore a silver dress with floral pieces, while her husband, 45, wore a black tuxedo with a white shirt and black bow tie.
Washington shared a carousel of photos of her stunning red carpet looks on Instagram. “#VFOscars 2024 🖤✨,” she captioned the post, which gave fans a closer look at her outfit.

“#Oscars hold ’em ✨,” Washington wrote in another Instagram post, which captured her before and after glam in a video set to Beyoncé’s country song, “Texas Hold ‘Em.”
The star then reposted it all on her Instagram Stories – and even shared a close-up of her nails and black Christian Louboutin heels.

Washington and Asomugha have been married since 2013. The two have a daughter, Isabelle Amarchi, born on April 21, 2014, and a son, Caleb Kelechi, born on October 5, 2016. They also share Asomugha’s daughter from a previous relationship.
In 2016, Washington spoke openly about why she keeps her marriage out of the spotlight.
“Social media has actually been great for [other celebrities’] links to weeklies or gossip sites because people say things and say, ‘That’s not true!’ So in a way I think it’s been great because people have been able to keep their voice,” Washington said at a panel at the SXSW Music, Film + Interactive Festival at the time. “For me, it’s a little different because I don’t talk about my personal life .”
She continued: “That means not only that I didn’t tell you when I was getting married, it also means that if someone has a rumor about what’s going on in my marriage, I don’t deny it, because I don’t talk about my personal life.”
