Kevin Bacon, 66, Has No Plans to 'Slow Down' His Career Anytime Soon: 'I'm More Driven Than Ever' (Exclusive)

During his long career, Kevin Bacon was built by an impressive acting summary.

Since in 1978 he made his debut with a feature film National Lampoon House for AnimalsThe 66-year-old actor became the name of the household. His merits now include Free,, Friday 13th.,, Apollo,, The following,, Jerk and Crazy, stupid, love. His efforts like Michael Strobl in Assume He allowed him to become the winner of the Golden Globe Award and the screen prize.

On top of that, he created music as part of the Bacon brothers, along with his brother Michael of the 90’s.

As his “fun” new project, Prime Video’s Action-Horror Series TaxpayerNow flows, Bacon speaks to people solely of what follows for his career: “It does not slow me down!”

“It’s funny because I feel like many people, obviously, who are my age, are happy to stop, slow down or play golf or anything else. I think I’m more, maybe I’m guilty, I’m just more triggered than ever,” he says. “There are so many things that I still want to do as an actor, as a musician, as a writer. Not as a writer, but as a songwriter. As a director, no. I do not plan to slow down.”

“What is the following? I don’t know. Shocking, I hung long enough that I’m always amazed to continue to offer me things,” he continues. “It’s just something I never take for granted. And the possibilities are there. They come. They seem to still come.”

Even with all his success, Bacon, interestingly, does not perceive himself as a leading man at this stage of his career.

“What I feel so grateful, except that I could make a living for a living as an actor, is that they are the opportunities I get because I made it or made a job a decision to become a actor as opposed to a leading man,” he divides.

“Well, sometimes I did [lead projects]But I don’t think I just do it. And as a result, if I look at two characters just who are in a can between Maxxxin and Policeman Beverly HillsThese are two men who cannot be different, “he continues.” They are completely different characters and completely different tones in terms of film and the type of film as they are. And I got the opportunity to do both of them and make them both exit the same year. So, because of that, I feel very, very grateful. ”

Although he now runs his new series, TaxpayerBacon still has a place in his heart because the character is an actor, who he thinks gives him greater flexibility in what he is able to do. “That is, because I always wanted it. That’s something I have done all my life. And things offered to me are never exactly the same,” he adds.
