He has a keen interest in music and performs as a professional drummer in various events. He has performed with various music bands such as Dreadwolf, Funk It Let’s Jam, Robbie Gold Band, and Jess Bess And The Intentions. In an interview, he talked about his career as a drummer. He said,
I’ve been playing drums for about five years, since I was about two years old. I actually started playing drums my whole life because my mom went to a garage sale and found a beat-up drum set and she said, ‘This would be fun for a kid to get some energy out of.’ So, she brought it home and I was always banging on it and banging on it and stuff like that.”

On May 26, 2021, Kevin was hit by a Hyundai Sonata while riding his bicycle in Avordale, Chicago. He was immediately taken to the hospital, where hospital officials pronounced him dead. According to local police,
Clark, 32, of the 700 block of West Roscoe Street in Lakeview, was riding his bicycle east on Logan Boulevard and approaching the intersection with North Western Avenue around 1:20 a.m. A silver Hyundai Sonata was traveling south on Western Avenue and the light was green, so it entered the intersection and hit the cyclist who ran the red light.
After Kevin’s death, his friends expressed their condolences on their social media accounts. Jack Black expressed his condolences on Instagram about Kevin’s death. He wrote:
Shocking news. Kevin is gone. Too soon. Beautiful soul. So many great memories. Heartbroken. Sending love to his family and the entire School of Rock community.”
Kevin’s friend Reyes wrote on her Instagram,
“I just remember being nervous and scared, but Kevin’s spirit immediately warmed my heart,” Reyes said. “He was such a generous, warm person.” The three of them were “lively, wild and inseparable.”

- His love for drumming began at the age of 3. In an interview, he said,
My mom brought the drums home because she was tired of me banging on pots and pans. But I really believe I’ve been playing drums since I was in my mother’s womb, kicking the double bass with my feet.”
