Lovers of pizza and fried chicken no longer have to decide where to eat.
KFC announced that the “Chizza” — a menu item previously introduced internationally that combines the names and flavors of both dishes — will arrive at KFC locations nationwide on February 26.
First introduced in the Philippines in 2015 before making its way to Germany, Mexico and beyond, the Chizza is described as two white meat chicken fillets smothered in marinara, mozzarella and pepperoni sauce, according to the release.

The new menu item, which is available both on its own and as a combo meal with fries and a drink, arrives as the New York City KFC location transforms into a pop-up “Chizzeria.” On Friday and Saturday from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM ET, the restaurant at 242 E 14th St. will allow customers to taste Chizza for the first time. The menu item has previously been rolled out in Korea, Taiwan, India, Thailand, Spain and beyond.
KFC’s Blackberry Lemonade will also temporarily return to stores nationwide.
“So… Chizza’s out of the bag,” the company said in a post on X. “*points to Monday’s calendar*”

The Chizza news comes less than a year after KFC brought back the fan-favorite double food, which returned to U.S. locations after a nearly decade-long hiatus for the bunless sandwich.
The menu item was only available for four weeks, several years after its initial launch in 2010 and a brief revival in 2014.
According to a release at the time, the original iteration of the double dip sold more than 10 million sandwiches before it was recalled.
After Popeyes’ chicken sandwich went viral in 2019, several fast food chains offered customers new twists on the chicken sandwich, including Burger King and Taco Bell.
