Grégory Avau, better known by his first name, was a member of the group Joshua founded in 2001, calling synthpop its genre. He is unique in that while playing Kid Noize, he never shows his face which he hides under a prosthetic monkey face. On December 23, 1981, Grégory Avau was born in the Brussels municipality of Anderlecht. He started playing music at the age of thirteen.
