Kim Kardashian Is Looking for a ‘More Age-Appropriate’ Love After 13-Year Gap with Pete Davidson

Kim Kardashian isn’t quite ready to get back on the dating scene — but when the time comes, she knows exactly what she wants.

In Thursday’s episode The Kardashians, the 42-year-old reality star opened up about dating again and what it will mean when she finds the right person. As fans may recall, Kim’s last relationship with Pete Davidson ended in August 2022. She and the comedian — who was 13 years her junior — dated for nine months before calling it quits.

While chatting with her friends in London before attending an FC Arsenal match with her sons on Thursday’s episode, Kim hit back at their claim that “cute boys” could turn up at the sporting event.

“Why are you all looking at me? I have an age limit, guys,” she insisted. “I just need a little more age appropriate. I do [someone in their] 40s.”

In the confessional, Kim talked about how her friends really wanted to hook up with someone and why she doesn’t feel the need to hook up right now.

“When you’re single and all your friends are married, it’s like you have a desperate look on your face and everyone under the sun wants to set you up with someone,” she said. “I’m really perfectly fine with being alone for a minute and the right situation will happen to me.”

Kim had several relationships before dating Pete, including her three-year romance with former NFL star Reggie Bush, 38, and her marriages to music producer Damon Thomas, 52, and NBA player Kris Humphries, 38.

She also endured a difficult divorce battle with ex-husband Kanye West, from whom she filed for divorce in February 2021 after six years of marriage. The former couple — who share children North, 10, Saint, 7, Chicago, 5, and Psalm, 4 — finalized their divorce in November 2022.

Following her split from the 46-year-old rapper, Kim began dating Pete, 29, in the fall of 2021, after debuting on Saturday night live. As Kim and Pete’s relationship blossomed, Kanye attacked the couple several times online and in the press, including in the video for his single “Eazy,” in which the rapper kidnapped, tied up, and buried a clay version of Pete.

The couple separated in August 2022 after nine months of dating. On the season 3 premiere the kardashians, Kim admitted she felt “a lot of guilt” after their breakup because Pete “went through a lot because of my relationship [with Kanye].”

Recently, a source told PEOPLE that Kim was “hanging out” with NFL player Odell Beckham Jr., 30.
