- According to King, growing up, she was shy and would shake and sweat every time she was asked to give a speech. However, when she performs on stage, she is different. She feels excited when she sings on stage.
- In elementary school, she wanted to be a voice actress. This led her to pursue a degree in film and theatre.
- Her parents wanted her to become a college professor, not an actress. After a year of successfully convincing her parents, she enrolled in a degree in theater and film.
- Since her parents wanted her to become a professor, she went to a music conservatory and a voice acting academy without her parents’ knowledge. When she was 20 years old, she worked as an understudy (an understudy who fills in for the lead character in his absence) in a play.
