Kim Woo-jin, also known as Woojin, is a South Korean singer and actor. He is best known for being a former member of the K-pop boy band “Stray Kids” under record label JYP Entertainment.

He trained at SM Entertainment for a year and practiced with other trainees who later became members of the Korean boy band “NCT”. On October 11, 2017, he joined JYP Entertainment as a trainee. He participated in Mnet’s reality TV show “Stray Kids” with the goal of becoming the lead singer in a new boy band formed by JYP Entertainment (also known as “Stray Kids”).

Accused of sexual harassment
In September 2020, Kim Woo-jin faced sexual harassment accusations from an unidentified woman on Twitter. One person said Woo-jin tried to touch her and her friends, although they refused. Another person claimed to have met Kim at a bar in April 2020 and said he was angry when she rejected him. She shared a photo of a wine bottle and confirmed that Woo-jin was the man in the photo. Woo-jin denies the accusations and says he doesn’t even know the person making them, nor the location mentioned. He took legal action against them for defamation. CCTV footage from the bar that night shows the photo was taken by one of two men at the table, neither of whom was Kim. It was also discovered that one of the accusers and those spreading the accusations were from Brazil. In July 2021, a documentary titled “Finger Killer” released by 10x Entertainment investigated these false sexual harassment accusations against Kim Woo-jin.
