Kimora Lee Simmons Shares Hilarious Kitchen Mishap by Daughter Aoki: 'Wrong Soap'

The model-turned-businesswoman poked fun at her youngest daughter on Instagram on Sunday

Kimora Lee Simmons makes fun of daughter Aoki Lee Simmons.

The model-turned-businesswoman, 48, shared a post on her Instagram Story on Sunday, highlighting a text message exchange between her, Aoki, 21, and her other daughter, Ming Lee Simmons.

In a series of texts, Aoki sent her mother and sister a photo of a dishwasher with soap coming out of the bottom, leaving a huge pile of soap scum on the kitchen floor.

“MOM,” Aoki wrote, including a crying emoji. “I followed the instructions I swear.” The recent college graduate added a sticker to the screenshot: “I swear I didn’t do anything weird. What did I mess up?”

In response, Simmons wrote above the post, “BLAM THE SOAP AOKIIIIII!!!”

Kimora Lee Simmons celebrates her ‘baby girl’ Aoki Lee as she turns 21: ‘I’m so very proud of you’

Simmons’ latest announcement comes after she celebrated Aoki’s 21st birthday last month.

Then the entrepreneur honored her youngest daughter by sharing a series of photos of Aoki throughout her life on Instagram.

“My little girl is 21 years old!!! 😍🎂 Mom loves you very much and I am very proud of you!” Simmons began her caption. “I know you’ve been through a LOT and God has protected you and all of us. From graduating from HARVARD at 21 (!!!) to carving your own path in New York modeling! You do it all!”

“It’s all worth it, and the exciting news we’ll be sharing soon proves it! 👀🤫🤐 We’re here with you baby and we’re riding for you through it all! ❤️,” continued the proud mom. “I have you forever! Cheers to 21! 🥂 #beautyandbrains.”

Earlier in June, Aoki graduated from Harvard University. “I feel grateful, proud and relieved — in that order! It feels surreal to be done with something that has been such a big part of my life. Now, like every other graduate, I’m moving on to the next chapter,” she exclusively told PEOPLE at the time.

Aoki continued, “I’m so thankful for the village of people who encouraged me and helped me stay focused. My mom, my sister, my little brothers at home. It took a whole tribe, trust me!”

Simmons also spoke to PEOPLE, adding, “This has been a big season for our family. Both of my daughters graduated the same year — wow! I can’t express how proud I am of them. They’re both such smart beauties! And they’re all mine!”

“I want Aoki Lee to keep the same energy and passion she’s shown throughout her life,” she continued. “It’s nice to have a Harvard degree in the family, but it might be nice to have a lawyer. But I promised myself I’d wait at least a week before I started gently nudging her in that direction.”

Along with Aoki and Mingo, 23, Simmons is also mother to sons Kenzo, Gary and Wolfe.
