King Charles under huge pressure to punish brother Prince Andrew after he is named 69 times in damning Epstein docs

KING Charles is under pressure to punish Prince Andrew and “pop an ulcer” after more lurid sexual abuse allegations were branded the “final nail in the coffin”.

Andrew is mentioned 69 times in new US court documents naming associates of late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

The prince, 63, has plunged the royal family into a new scandal over detailed claims he took part in a “underage orgy” and groped a woman’s breast while she sat on his lap like “Santa Claus”.

The dossier, released in New York, includes claims that the underage girl was told to give Andrew “whatever he asked” while at Epstein’s private Caribbean resort on Little St James – dubbed the “pedophile island”.

Queen Elizabeth stripped the Duke of York of his royal role in disgrace and banished him from public office for paying out millions of pounds to accused sexual abuser Virginia Giuffre, 40, two years ago.

But dad-of-two Andrew – who has always maintained his innocence – has “sneaked” back into royal life.

He appeared with the entire royal family on the Christmas walk to church in a shocking display of unity.

Court documents led to calls for the king, 75, to take further steps to force his brother to leave the royal lodge at Windsor and even strip him of his royal title.

Andrew took up residence in the 31-room house in 2003 after refusing his brother’s requests to move to the smaller Frogmore Cottage.

It is understood plans were already underway to evict him and move him to a smaller residence.

Now Charles could redouble his efforts after the release of the documents.

Royal commentator and author Phil Dampier said: “This is the final nail in the coffin. If Andrew had any thoughts that he might eventually come back, it dashed those hopes.”

Writing in The Sun, Charles biographer and royal expert Robert Jobson said: “The King would be wise to cut ties with his brother completely.

“Andrew is an obstacle and this scandal is not going away.”

Norman Baker, the former Lib Dem home secretary, said: “This needs to be resolved once and for all and this ulcer needs to be punctured.”

The 1,000 pages of legal documents tell of an alleged victim referred to as “Jane Doe 3” – believed to be Virginia Giuffre.

The files state: “Perhaps even more important to her role in Epstein’s sexual abuse ring, Maxwell had direct connections to other powerful individuals with whom she could connect Epstein.

“For example, one such powerful individual, Epstein forced Jane Doe #3 to have sexual relations with a member of the British Royal Family, Prince Andrew (aka the Duke of York).

“Jane Doe #3 was forced to have sexual relations with this prince while underage in three different geographic locations: London (in Ghislaine Maxwell’s apartment), New York, and on Epstein’s private island in the US Virgin Islands (in an orgy with numerous other minors).”

The files go on: “Epstein instructed Jane Doe #3 that she must give the prince everything he asked for and demanded that Jane Doe #3 report to him the details of the sexual abuse.”

Prince Andrew vehemently denies all accusations.

The lurid descriptions appear in previously sealed files from Ms Giuffra’s defamation case against Maxwell, who is serving a 20-year prison sentence for procuring teenage girls for billionaire Epstein.

‘Parts of sexual abuse’

The files added: “Maxwell facilitated Prince Andrew’s acts of sexual abuse by acting as a ‘madame’ for Epstein, thereby assisting in the international trafficking of Jane Doe #3 (and numerous other young women) for sexual purposes.”

Among the documents is the testimony of Johanna Sjoberg, who was hired by Maxwell to work as a masseuse at the age of 20.

She describes meeting Ms. Giuffre, Epstein, Andrew and Maxwell at Epstein’s townhouse in New York.

In evidence given in 2016, she said: “At one point Ghislaine told me to come upstairs, so we went into the wardrobe and pulled out a doll, a caricature of Prince Andrew, and brought it up.

“And there was a little plaque on the doll that said ‘Prince Andrew’, and that’s when I knew who he was. It looked like him. And she brought it down and gave it to him.

“And it was a great joke, because it was obviously a production from a BBC show. And they decided to take a picture with it, with Virginia and Andrew sitting on the couch.

“They put the doll on Virginia’s lap and I was sitting in Andrew, they put the doll’s hand on Virginia’s breast and Andrew put his hand on my breast, and they took the photo.”

Asked to give more details about how the three were sitting, Ms Sjoberg said: “She (Virginia) might have been on his other knee, like Santa Claus.”

Ms. Sjoberg also explains that Virginia was a “minor” because she was too young to go to Donald Trump’s casino in Atlantic City.

Ms Giuffre says she was 17 when she was sold to have sex with Prince Andrew.

She claims they had sex in the bathtub at Maxwell’s Mayfair townhouse after dancing with a “sweaty” Andrew at Faces nightclub.

The Duke denies ever meeting Ms Giuffre and used his Newsnight interview in 2019 to issue an alibi by claiming he was at Pizza Express in Woking at the time.

But despite the shocking revelations in the files, Andrew’s friends believe they are discovering nothing new.

They believe the documents instead detail the “breadth and depth” of the relationship Epstein had with US establishment figures such as former US President Bill Clinton.

And they argue that Andrew’s “fleeting” association with Epstein acted as a “distraction” and a “gift” to those who had much closer ties to him.

Police dropped their investigation into Ms Giuffra’s allegations in October 2021.

Andrew paid Ms Giuffre millions of pounds in early 2022 to stop her sexual assault claim going to trial.

The latest damaging allegations will make the worst possible start to the new year for King Charles, who is on holiday with Queen Camilla in the Scottish Highlands this evening.

Charles is now facing calls to “puncture the ulcer” and prevent Andrew from returning to royal life.

Nigel Cawthorne, author of Prince Andrew, Maxwell, Epstein and the Palace, said The Met should interview the Duke about the assault claims, which he denies.

Mr Cawthorne added: “He used the mummy bank to get out of the Virginia Giuffra case to avoid going to America where he could clear his name.

“The police should investigate because more evidence is clearly coming out in these documents.”

Prince Andrew and Buckingham Palace have not commented.

Andrew is a liability the king cannot afford

Robert Jobson, King’s biographer

YOU must feel for the king. It’s the year 2024, and Prince Andrew’s sordid past is once again causing great embarrassment.

A few days ago, the disgraced Duke was seen walking to church with Charles, along with his ex-wife Fergie.

Most considered the king’s gesture of goodwill a good move.

This showed that the monarch was willing to give his brother a second chance, at least for private family events.

Last year, he gave Andrew a semblance of reprieve due to the loss of his royal mansion.

He wanted Andrew to move out of the 31-room Royal Lodge.

Andrew won the day after convincing the king that he had the funds for much-needed repairs.

But staying put and being seen next to other members of the royal family is not a good look.

Private events are still public, with press pens set up for the media.

I understand why the king did it.

He knows that his brother is devastated by the loss of his reputation and is still depressed.

But now, with Andrew’s friendship with Jeffrey Epstein plastered in the headlines, it doesn’t seem like a smart play.

Andrew, who denies all the accusations against him, was forced to withdraw from public life because of the scandal with Virginia Giuffre.

He is now accused of groping another victim in newly unsealed court records. Prince Andrew denies any wrongdoing.

There are no more official duties.

Then why should he be allowed to stay in this lavish royal estate when he contributes nothing?

The king would be wise to cut ties with his brother. Andrew is an obstacle and it won’t go away.
