Kiran Prabhu Navgire was born on Sunday, 18 September 1994 (age 28; as of 2022) in Mir, Solapur, Maharashtra. Her zodiac sign is Virgo. She completed her education from Shree Chandrashekhar Vidyalaya, Shripur, Maharashtra. She studied Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Hindi from Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. Kiran Navgire has represented Maharashtra Women, Nagaland Women, IPL Velocity and India C Women in domestic competitions. In 2016, Nawagir participated in a college tournament at Azam Sports Academy in Pune; she met Gulzar Sheikh, who later became her coach. Sheikh and the director of Azam Sports Academy visited her after the game and learned of her lack of professional training and humble origins; both of them were impressed by her talent and offered her the opportunity to train for free at the academy. This put Kieran in a dilemma as she wanted to pursue a career in sports. Both the president and the coach suggested choosing cricket over athletics and later, she switched from athletics to cricket. During the 2016-2017 season, she scored 429 runs in five games in a tournament organized by the Pune District Cricket Association (PDCA). PDCA selectors were impressed with her talent and sent her to the state team trials that same year; however, she was not selected for the state team. In 2017, she met Jonty Gilbile at a PDCA Shinde League competition held at Pune Law College; he later became her coach. On 24 December 2017, she was selected for the Maharashtra women’s team; she made her debut against the Railways women’s team. Kiran was part of the Maharashtra team between 2017 and 2021; however, she was not a regular starter in the team and found it difficult to make it into the eleven.
In 2019, she was the second highest scorer in the PDCA Sadu Shinde League (2019) with 131 points in two games. She was left out of the Maharashtra women’s team for the 2021-2022 season when domestic cricket resumed after the coronavirus lockdown. Kiran learned from friends that the Nagaland women’s football team is looking for guest players for the 2021-2022 season; Navajire applied to join the team and was selected for the Nagaland women’s team. She played six matches for the Nagaland women’s team in the Women’s Senior One-Day Cup (2021-2022), scoring 137 runs and taking 11 wickets. The cricketer has been named in the Nagaland women’s team for the Women’s Senior T20 Trophy 2021-2022.
She scored 162 off 76 balls against Arunachal Pradesh Women in the opening match of the Women’s Senior T20 Trophy (2021-2022) at ACA Stadium, Balsapara on 15 April 2022. points, with a shooting percentage of 213.16. In the quarter-finals of the Women’s Senior T20 Trophy, she scored 56 runs off 44 balls against Kerala Women; however, Nagaland lost by 7 wickets for the first time since 2018 Nagaland has advanced to the knockout stages of the domestic tournament for the first time since joining the BCCI in 2016. Kiran scored a century and four half-centuries and emerged as the top scorer in the Women’s Senior T20 Championship 2021-2022 with 525 runs in 7 matches. In 2022, she played three matches for the India C team in the 2022-2023 Senior Women’s T20 Challenger Cup, scoring 26 points.
In 2022, Navgire was selected for the Nagaland women’s team to compete in the 2022-2023 Women’s Senior One-Day Cup and the 2022-2023 Women’s Senior T20 Cup; however, the cricketer failed to replicate last season’s performance and Nagaland failed to Advancement from the group stage of two matches.

In August 2022, she was selected for the Indian women’s team for the tour of England. Kiran Navgire made her T20 international debut against England Women at Chester-le-Street on 10 September 2022; Navgire scored 7 runs from 13 balls. She played in the first two games of the series but was left out of the eleven for the final game. On September 21, 2022, she was selected into the 15-man squad for the 2022 Women’s Asian Cup T20. On October 3, 2022, Kiran was sent off for a duck in the Women’s Asian Cup match against the Malaysian women’s team; she played three more games in the competition and scored ten points against the UAE women’s team.
Women’s T20 Challenge
On May 16, 2022, IPL Velocity announced the signing of Kiran Navgire ahead of the 2022 Women’s T20 Challenge. She made her debut against Supernovas; however, she did not bat in the match and Velocity won by 7 wickets. In the second match, she scored 69 runs off 34 balls against the Trail Blazers with a strike rate of 202.94; she started her match with a six-wicket haul and scored the fastest half-century in the history of the tournament. In the final game of the championship against Supernovas, she was bowled for a duck by Sophie Ecclestone; she took thirteen penalties and was heavily criticized by the fans.

Women’s Premier League (WPL)
UP Warriorz Women signed her on 13 February 2023 ahead of the inaugural season of the Women’s Super League (2022-2023). She made her debut against the Gujarat Giants on March 5, 2023, scoring 53 points off 43 balls with a strike rate of 123.26. Kieran scored 155 points in 9 games in the 2022-2023 Women’s Super League season with a shooting percentage of 114.81.
