Kirk Cousins’ Wife Says She’s ‘Thankful’ for Atlanta Falcons’ WAGS Bible Study Group

Kirk Cousins’ wife is thankful for her friends this Thanksgiving.

Julie Cousins ​​took to her Instagram Stories on Thursday, Nov. 28, to repost a photo of Janesa Constantine, wife of Atlanta Falcons assistant director of strength and conditioning Paul Constantine. The post included a group picture of the Falcons player’s loved ones at Bible study along with a sweet message.

“I am so thankful for these ladies! We cried, we were vulnerable, we laughed a lot and we really bonded and supported each other [sic] these past few months! WAGS BIBLE STUDY,” Janese wrote on the original recording, referring to the titles of sports stars’ wives and girlfriends. She also put on a sticker with the Falcons logo, adding, “2 things we don’t joke about 1) God 2) our man.”

In her repost, Julie added: “Grateful for this group…you hit the spot @janesconstantine.”

Kirk and Julie celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary earlier this year, sharing a slideshow of photos over the years on Instagram.

“Today we celebrate 10 years of marriage. Time flies when you’re having fun!” they wrote in a joint announcement in June.

The couple met in 2012, the same year Kirk joined the NFL when he was drafted by the Washington Commanders. After 18 months of dating, the defender proposed on the balcony of the Capitol building, and they got married in 2014.

They went on to have two children: son Cooper, who was born in 2017, and son Turner, who arrived in 2019.

Three days before Thanksgiving, Julie shared a series of family bonding photos from Kirk’s week off.

“Feeling grateful for an amazing bye week…. WickedMSU, cats, fire and lots of love!” she wrote a carousel.

It also featured candid moments of her and Kirk, a photo of a chilly day at the beach, and cute pictures of their sons with their pets.

The two spoke with PEOPLE in July 2023, where they opened up about whether their sons are interested in soccer.

“I don’t think they understand it yet, but every year they take another step toward actually playing a part of it, which has been fun for me,” Kirk said, adding that he “set a goal to play long enough before I go to retirement that my guys will really remember and enjoy being a part of.”

Julie said the boys “want to watch the game now. They care about the score” and noted that she and Kirk “look forward to many more years of being able to continue with us and share that passion with us.”
