Kirsten Dunst Still Knows Her Iconic Bring It On Chant After 24 Years: Watch Her Recite It!

Once Toro, always Toro!

On Saturday, August 17, Kirsten Dunst proved she still knows how to do it, reciting the iconic “roll call” found in the opening scene Bring It On while the 2000 film played in front of her.

“You hate us because we’re beautiful, but we don’t like you either,” Dunst, 42, chanted alongside the film in an Instagram post. “We are cheerleaders. We are cheerleaders!”

As the song continued, Dunst — who stole hearts as Torrance Shipman’s bubbly protagonist in the Peyton Reed-directed comedy classic — flashed a big smile and laughed as he pushed the camera.

The sweet clip, shot by Kate and Laura Mulleavy, was filmed at an event in Los Angeles held in Dunst’s honor — an outdoor “slumber party” that boasts a double feature Bring It On and Suicide virgins.

Dunst surprised fans at the event, hosted by Cinespia at Hollywood Forever Cemetery, by interrupting her sleep to thank them – and recite more of her iconic lines, on schedule.

The actress revisited the second part Bring It On sang during her surprise appearance, telling the crowd, “I’m TT-Torrance, your Captain Torrance. Let’s go, Toros!”

She also said she was “honoured” that the crowd had flocked to see the films, revealing she hadn’t seen any Suicide virgins or Bring It On since she was a teenager. She made films when she was 16 or 17 years old.

“Oh my God, you people. This is the craziest thing I’ve ever witnessed in my life,” Dunst told Deadline.

“I’m so devastated,” she continued. “My friends and family are here, I’ll be watching with you. I haven’t seen one of these movies since I was a teenager myself, with an audience. I am so honored.”

Dunst also expressed her gratitude to the company that made the slumber party-themed event possible, writing on Instagram, “Thank you #cinespia.”

The Oscar-nominated actress recently said she will visit the world again Bring It On — which also stars Gabrielle Union, Eliza Dushku and Jesse Bradford — on screen, but only if it’s not too “embarrassing.”

In April, Dunst said Party tonight that her participation in the new part “depends”.

“Everyone brings their own stuff, right? It’s time to go back in time,” she told the paper, adding: “As long as it’s not embarrassing.”
