Kishore Nandraskar

Kishore Nandlaskar is a veteran Indian actor and a well-known face in the Marathi film industry. He mainly played comedy roles in Marathi and Hindi films. He is famous for his role as ‘Sannata’ in the Bollywood film Jis Desh Mein Ganga Rehta Hain (2000).

Kishore Nandlaskar was born in Bombay in 1941 (aged 80; died). He spent his childhood in different areas of Mumbai, including Lamington Road, Nagpada and Ghatkopar. He studied at New Era High School, Panchgani and Union High School, Mumbai. Kishore graduated from Pune University. He learned his acting skills from his father.

Kishore Nandlaskar was admitted to the Covid-19 center in Thane on April 14, 2021, after testing positive for COVID-19. He reportedly had difficulty breathing before being admitted to hospital. He breathed his last at the Covid Center on April 20, 2021 at around 12:30 pm.

  • Nandraskar used to live in a small house in Bhojvada Parral in Mumbai during the early days of his career. Since the house was too small, Kishore often slept in a nearby temple. After the news became public, then Mumbai Chief Minister Veerasrao Deshmukh gave him permission to buy a property in Borivali, Mumbai.
  • Before his death in 2021, Kishore owned a house in Nagpada, Mumbai. He also owns two apartments in Mumbai.
