KPop Meets Kpup! Superstar Wonho Shows Off Furry Friend and Six-Pack at Jingle Ball

We know what’s on KPop superstar Wonha’s Christmas list this year — a puppy!

The South Korean singer performed at the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball in Miami on Saturday, December 21st. Backstage, the 31-year-old posed with an adorable black lab wearing a festive Santa hat.

The pop star, in a gray cut-off combat vest that showed off his muscular arms and six-pack, raised a puppy paw to wave at the twinkling cameras. In a video posted on his Instagram, Wonho smiled and walked over the pet while kissing its head.

“I’m actually melting,” the performer wrote.

He also posted photos with the dog on Instagram, with the caption, “Visual what’s on my wishlist this year.”

The solo artist, who previously performed with Monsta X, is touring the US after being discharged from the military in September, he told NOW TODAY in the interview.

“I’m surprised that I was able to return to the US so quickly and I think it’s thanks to the support of my fans,” Wonho explained to the publication.

Wonho did not miss a single moment of his return to the music scene after his mandatory two-year military service. He released “What Would You Do” on November 22, launched his first US fan meeting tour, 2024 WONHO USA FAN MEETUP on December 4, along with previously announced Jingle Ball shows in Dallas, Chicago, Detroit and Miami.

Wonho was honest that the transition from active military service back to the life of a pop star was not easy.

“It was a bit strange to be back on stage performing again. It’s been so long… I even felt like I was so nervous that my legs were shaking,” Wonho said. “I thought it was a bit awkward to get used to the facial expressions again in front of the camera and it took me a while.”

Wonho admits that he still feels shy on tour.

“I feel nervous now, because I’m constantly in new places and in front of new fans,” he told USA TODAY. “Every stage is different, especially in the US”
