Manjari Joshi is a well-known former Indian newscaster of Doordarshan Public Service Broadcasting Corporation. She is a journalist, author and translator.

Manjari Joshi was born on Saturday, March 19, 1960, in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India (63 years old as of 2023). She completed her education in 1974 from Sardar Patel Vidyalaya, New Delhi. She received her BSc (Honours) in Chemistry from Miranda College, Delhi University. She pursued her MA in Russian Language and Literature from Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi. She formed a close bond with Doordarshan in the 1980s.

Manjari Joshi is the eldest daughter of Sahitya Akademi Award winner, poet and journalist Raghuvir Sahay. Her father was a famous Hindi poet and short story writer. Her mother’s name is Bimleshwari Sahay. She has a brother, Dharmesh Sahay, who is a senior video editor at Aaj Tak News Channel, and two sisters, Varsha Sahay Srivastava and Hema Singh.
