Kris Jenner revealed that she will undergo surgery after doctors found a tumor on her ovary.
In this week’s episode The KardashiansThe 68-year-old mom is vacationing in Aspen when she shares the terrifying health news with her boyfriend Corey Gamble and daughters Kim, Khloé and Kendall.
“I wanted to tell you something… I went to the doctor and had a checkup,” she says before starting to cry. “They found, and this makes me really emotional, but, they found a cyst and a small tumor on my ovary.”
“Dr. A said I have to have my ovaries removed and I’m emotional about it because they’ve come in handy,” she tells her family. “All my children were conceived there and grew there, in my tummy. So this is a very sacred place for me.”
Kim said she feels “very sad” for her mum, admitting she can’t imagine what she’s going through or how scared she must feel about the surgery. Khloé then calls sister Kourtney on the phone for Kris to tell her the news.
“I totally understand how my mom feels because I would feel the same,” Kourtney said. “It’s your female power and that doesn’t mean it takes away from who she is or what she’s experienced, but I would feel that sentimental sense of what he created.”

Kris Jenner Undergoes Hip Replacement Surgery, Gets Emotional Because ‘I’m Getting Older’
“Look, if I can get through a hip replacement, I can get through this,” Kris said. “I’m not nervous about falling asleep. I am not nervous with Dr. A, she is the best doctor in the world. But then you do it and… it’s so real.”
Kris continued to cry and admitted that it was a sign that she was getting old and that she was done with that part of her life. “It’s a whole chapter that just closed,” she added.
In the confessional, Kendall said she understands why her mom is sad, but if her ovaries are “potentially hurting her” and she no longer needs them, then it’s time to “get them out of there.”
Kim then lightened the mood by teasing that the family should have an “ovarian farewell party”. Corey also tried to lift Kris’ spirits by surprising her with a gift.
“I have something for your energy,” he said before handing her a black fur coat. “I don’t want you to be sad. You’re going to cry at least 15 more times, so I just want you to have a present.”
“I’ll be fine… I’ve got you,” Kris said. “People often ask me what is the best job I’ve ever had, and I always say: Mom. The greatest blessing in my life was being able to give birth to six beautiful children.”
