KAREN Houghton, the only sister of Kris Jenner, died in San Marcos, California at the age of 65.
Karen worked as a part-time nurse and writer, choosing to stay out of the limelight.

The exact circumstances of Karen’s death are unclear, but county officials are currently attributing it to natural causes, according to TMZ.
Kris, 68, took to Instagram to mourn the loss and shared numerous photos with her late sibling.
“It is with the heaviest heart and deepest sadness that I say that my sister Karen passed away unexpectedly yesterday,” the reality star shared.
“My heart goes out to my mom MJ and my niece Natalie and we pray that God guides us all through this difficult time. Karen was beautiful inside and out. She was the sweetest, kindest, most sensitive and vulnerable and so funny.”
“She always felt grateful for her life and cherished her family and friends, especially her beautiful daughter,” Kris continued.
“She holds such a big part of my heart and I cherish every memory we have together.”
“Karen’s death is a reminder that life is so short and precious and that tomorrow is not promised. We must tell those we value how much we love them. I love you my beautiful sister,” she concluded.
Kardashian fans and friends were quick to react to the tragedy, with Simon Huck writing: “I’m so sorry Kris for your loss.”
“So sorry Mj and Kris – prayers,” said another, while a third responded, “Sending love.”
Kris and Karen’s parents are MJ and Robert Houghton, as the star’s late sister was born just three years after their famous mom.

Robert died in 1975 at the age of 43 after a car accident.
While many members of the Kardashian family have appeared on the small screen and on social media over the years, Karen has stayed out of the spotlight, especially as the sisters have had their ups and downs.
‘SHE HAS PROBLEMS’
In 2014, Karen opened up to Radar about their relationship, calling out Kris’ split with ex Caitlin Jenner, who was 74 at the time.
Karen claimed Caitlyn had “walked away” from Kris and said she was “having problems right now”.
Karen also called her younger sister “crazy” on her personal Facebook that same year.
She even claimed Kris wasn’t returning her phone calls, suggesting the mother-of-six has “changed” since becoming a big star.
“I don’t care how much money you have or who you are; you’re my sister,” Karen told Radar in 2014.
“I’m not afraid of her. I can’t reach her anymore. But I guess it’s the money.”
“She’s a big celebrity and now she’s changed,” Karen claimed at the time.
“I’m not saying good or bad. But I’ve seen what Kris can do… ever since she moved to LA.”
However, the relationship seemed to take a turn for the better at Christmas 2019 when the Hulu star snapped a photo with Karen’s daughter, Natalie Zettel, during a family moment.
Karen shared a daughter with her ex-husband Mark Zettel.
Despite the apparent truce, Karen no longer appeared on Kris’ social media.
In addition to her daughter, Karen is survived by Kris, mother MJ, nephew Rob and nieces Kylie and Kendall Jenner and Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian.
