Krispy Kreme Adds 2 New Donuts to the Menu for the Fourth of July Including a Cotton Candy Sparkler Flavor

The latest offering of Krispy Kreme carp donuts is in red, white and blue!

The donut chain is celebrating the 4th of July with two new patriotic donut flavors, plus the return of a popular classic.

For fans of cream-filled donuts, the new Firework Cookies and Kreme donut is unglazed and filled with the brand’s signature cookies and cream. The red, white and blue confection is dipped in red icing and submerged in a blue swirl with arugula on top.

Another summer innovation of the confectionery chain is the Cotton Candy Sparkler donut. For this sweet, the donut is glazed and dipped in blue frosting and cotton candy, with red and white buttercream to round out the festive decor.

Of course, Krispy Kreme is bringing back the classic for Independence Day. The Freedom Flag donut was also on the menu for the 4th of July. It is a glazed donut dipped in white frosting and dotted with red stripes and blue and gold flecks.

The three donuts are available from June 21 and will come in a fun red white and blue box.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a Krispy Kreme vacation without a deal. On the 4th of July, any customer wearing red, white and blue can get a free glazed donut.

The chain had a lot of fun releases to kick off the summer. Recently, Krispy Kreme introduced a new range of dotted donuts, which are similar to hole donuts or munchkin donuts. Four new flavors have joined the original glazed dots on Krispy Kreme’s permanent menu: Powder, Cinnamon, Sprinkles and Crumb Cookie flavors. All use the original glazed dot as a base.

The new selected donut holes are available in 10 or 24 count containers.
