Krispy Kreme Is Selling a Dozen Doughnuts for $2 All Labor Day Weekend

Krispy Kreme is celebrating Labor Day with sweet relief!

Starting Thursday, August 29, the grocery chain is selling a dozen glazed donuts for just $2. The action lasts until the end of the weekend, on Monday, September 2.

To make the deal, fans must buy any dozen with the regular prize and get a second run for $2. According to the company’s press release, it’s limited to two dozen in-store and drive-thru, and one dozen via the app.

Earlier this month, Krispy Kreme teamed up with Dr Pepper to launch the Krispy Kreme x Dr Pepper Kickoff Collection. The football season-focused menu features three new treats.

Available now, the Dr Pepper Kickoff Donut is a classic glazed donut topped with Dr Pepper flavored glaze. Reminiscent of a carbonated drink, it is topped with burgundy spots and the Dr Pepper white chocolate logo.

The new Buttercreme Goals Donut has a glazed donut base and is dipped in green frosting. Covered in rainbow flecks, it’s topped with a buttercream-flavored yellow post.

The collection is rounded off by a soccer donut filled with cream, which is decorated like a soccer ball. As for the taste, it is filled with white cream and dipped in chocolate glaze.

While the sports collection will be available in-store and for pickup and delivery, customers can also pick up half a dozen boxes at select retailers.

Krispy Kreme had a summer full of celebrations. In July, the chain celebrated 87 years of business.

On July 12, customers could buy a dozen glazed donuts for just 87 cents. The low price honors 87 years in business since founder Vernon Rudolph first began selling donuts in grocery stores in 1937.
