Pumpkin is not the apple of Krispy Kreme’s eye this fall.
On September 16, the bakery chain revealed that four new returning fall donuts have been added to the fall menu. The line, called the Golden Harvest Collection, features four treats — but none of them are pumpkin-centric.
Three new sweets — Maple Buttercreme Doughnut, Oatmeal Kreme Pie Donut and Salted Caramel Cheesecake Donut — join a fan-favorite option: the spiced apple-filled doughnut.
Four donuts are full of maple and apple flavors.
Krispy Kreme
The first novelty is the Maple Buttercreme Doughnut, which takes the original glazed donut and tops it with maple-flavored buttercream. A bit of fall themed flecks are added on top for a fall look.
Oatmeal Kreme Pie Donut is an unglazed donut with a cream filling. The treat is dipped in cookie dough-flavored frosting and streusel crumbs and topped with a mini oatmeal cookie.
The last of the new donuts is the Salted Caramel Cheesecake Doughnut. For this dessert, an original glazed donut is decorated with dulce de leche and cream cheese flavored buttercream and topped with crunchy salted caramel pieces.

Fans know and love the spiced apple-filled doughnut, which is also available in the Golden Harvest collection. The sugar and cinnamon donut is filled with apple filling, which is a pie-like bite.
While this new collection available may not have the quintessential pumpkin-flavored treat, that’s only because Krispy Kreme already released PSL-inspired donuts last month.
Starting August 12th, fans could win Pumpkin Spice Cake Donuts and Pumpkin Spice Lattes.

Krispy Kreme also has pumpkin spice cake donuts and pumpkin spice lattes.

The fan favorite donut is both old fashioned and glazed. It is sold individually and in packs of ten pieces in bakeries or packs of six pieces in selected stores across the country.
In addition, the donut chain now offers pumpkin spice lattes that are available hot, iced or frozen. They all come with whipped cream on top.
Also new to the bakery boxes at Krispy Kreme are the Barbie x Krispy Kreme Collection treats. The line celebrates the 65th anniversary of the Barbie brand with four Barbie-inspired donuts: Barbie Pink, Malibu Dream Party, Barbie Berries ‘n Kreme and Barbie Sweet 65th Doughnut.
