Kristin Pelinka, wife of Rob Pelinka, is just as successful as he is. Many basketball fans recognize Rob Pelinka as the man in charge of the Los Angeles Lakers, serving as the team’s executive vice president of basketball and general manager.

Pelinka played basketball for Lake Forest High and was selected to several all-star teams in the region by the end of her senior year. He was eventually recruited by the University of Michigan and played for the Wolverines from 1989 to 1993. He then attended law school in Michigan and earned a doctorate in law cum principal to work as a sports agent. Later, Pelinka joined Mayer Brown, and two years later he joined SFX management as an agent. During his time at SFX, he met a woman who would become his wife.

The Los Angeles Times reported in June 2005 that Pelinka had proposed to Kristin Brett Schwarz, daughter of Dr and Kenneth Schwarz of Corona del Mar. They married two months later. Kristin attended Duke University and then UCLA School of Medicine. She then completed a pediatric residency at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
He works as a pediatrician in Costa Mesa, California. According to her biography on the Costa Mesa website, her medical interests include “child development, behavioral problems, children with special needs, and international medicine”. In an interview for Sapres, the pediatrician talked about her motivation to become a doctor. Kristin revealed that she wanted to be a doctor since she was 11 years old because of her love of math and science, but it wasn’t until later that she realized she had found her true inclination.
