He made his television debut in 2016 with the Marathi comedy series “Bun Maska”. “Ti Furani” is a TV series released in 2018 in which he plays Anay. In 2018, he acted in a TV series titled “Devashappath”. The following year, he played the role of Bapurao in the biographical action drama Gondya Ala Re, alongside Parth Ketkar and Shalva Kinjawadekar. He started his acting career in 2017 with a cameo appearance in the film Zindagi Virat directed by Sumit Sanghamitra. In the same year, he appeared in the drama film Maza BhirBhira. He played the role of Satish Dubhashi in the 2019 biopic Bhai – Vyakti Ki Valli 2 directed by Mahesh Manjrekar. In 2022, he starred in Dharmaveer, a film based on the biopic of late Shiv Sena leader Anand Dighe. He plays the role of Eknath Shinde alongside Prasad Oak.

In 2017, he directed a Hindi drama “Item”. In an interview, Kshtish shared some thoughts about the show. Regarding the creation of the play, he said,
“thing Reflects on how we treat women. The media, through its influence, has changed the way we think about sex, gender, and its power structures, setting strange physical standards for us to live up to. We really wanted to tell this story through the character of Sapna Shetty (voiced by Deepti Kachare), a less-skilled dancer who is cast by a filmmaker for his film heroine. She eventually became a superstar in the B-movie industry. Over the years she exposed her body to perform and gradually came to believe that she was a great actor and that her fans loved her acting skills. This notion was so ingrained in Sapna that when she made a comeback after a setback, she declared her comeback to be no less than Amitabh Bachchan. ”
When asked about the use of the bed as a metaphor in the play Item, he said:
In the play, the shots, the plot, the story and its subtexts, the dim lights, the dirty props, the polished chairs, the men and women, everything revolves around the bed. It becomes the central figure. In a B-movie, there is hardly any storyline and logical dialogue, and the ultimate goal is to show a man and a woman in bed. ”
On October 27, 2018, his play Item was screened at the Old World Theater Festival at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.
