Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky Vacation Apart Amidst Their Separation

Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky spend the holidays very differently.

On Tuesday, Richards, 54, shared a picture of herself in Punta Mita, Mexico, enjoying the sunset by the ocean. The post, for which comments have been turned off, is titled: “Sometimes we just need a little escape from reality 🌞 🌊 📚.”

Umansky, 53, experiences a very different climate. He shared on his Instagram Story his time spent in the snow – presumably in Aspen, Colorado, where the couple share a house. In one picture, he was enjoying the outdoors with one of the family dogs.

“Ski in the morning, hike in the afternoon, think, perfect day,” the real estate mogul captioned the image.

He later shared his top speed while skiing and filmed himself on his “first time skiing uphill”.

These trips come after The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star openly talks about the future of his marriage. In the franchise’s midseason trailer, Richards is shown pondering whether her 27-year marriage will be over.

“I want to feel happy and fulfilled. I don’t know if Moe and I will make it,” she admitted.

A recent episode RHOBH showed Richards talking to her life coach about how the death of her close childhood friend Lorena Shea affected her relationship with Umansky. She said that after Shea “took her own life on May 1,” Richards didn’t feel fully supported by her husband.

“Losing my best friend and what happened with my sister felt like another loss,” she told the cameras. “The thing that always kept me safe and grounded was my marriage, so it’s a lot that I didn’t feel like I had that at the same time.”

A month after PEOPLE broke the news of the couple’s divorce in July, Richards and Umansky vacationed with their family and friends in Europe.

The Buying Beverly Hills the broker shared a photo of the group with the caption: “Summer vacation 2023 in place.” The post showed him and Richards posing with their daughters, Alexia, Sophia and Portia Umansky, as well as Richards’ daughter Farrah Brittany and Alexia’s boyfriend, Jake Zingerman.

The actress also shared photos from the trip, showing Italian sunsets and shopping trips with her daughters.
