Kylie Jenner isn’t afraid to call on extra help when it comes to raising her family of pets.
In conversation with Jennifer Lawrence for Interview magazineJenner touched on a myriad of topics related to her public persona and personal life — including her duties as a pet mom.
When Lawrence asked the mogul, “What’s the best hire you ever got?” the Kylie Cosmetics founder has skipped the choices she’s made for her many business ventures and announced that she’s putting a dog sitter on her payroll.
“Probably my dog sitter, since I have seven dogs,” Jenner said Hunger Games star, prompting Lawrence to ask, “Why seven?”

Jenner laughed and responded by saying, “Because they kept multiplying. One of them had kids and I had to keep the family together.”
In 2016, the reality star said that her dogs, Italian greyhounds Norman and Bambi, became the parents of two puppies. Because of the sudden birth, Jenner missed her appearance at the American Music Awards.

At last count, Jenner has a total of 12 pets: 7 dogs, four chickens (which she revealed in an Instagram story in 2021, per The Sun of the USA) and a rabbit named Bruce.
Joking about Jenner’s pet parentage, Lawrence told the mogul, “You’re just like your mom. You got litters.”

Elsewhere in their conversation, Lawrence mentioned Jenner’s sister, asking her, “Do you think you have greyhounds because they remind you of Kendall?”
The The Kardashians star replied: “Yeah, that’s part of it. I love seeing the little Kendalls running around and I think they’re just hilarious. They just make me smile. I’ve never been, like, a Shih Tzu, Pomeranian type of girl.”
The statement prompted Lawrence to joke, “I had a half Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua and I called her my Kendall Jenner.”
