Fans feel grateful for Lainey Wilson and Jelly Roll.
On Thursday, Nov. 28, during halftime of the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Kickoff Show during the New York Giants vs. Dallas Cowboys game, Wilson, 32, took the field at AT&T Stadium for a performance featuring Jelly, 39, along with Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders.
Wilson, who wore a white studded jumpsuit (with her signature bell-bottom pants) and matching hat, kicked off her electrifying set with “Heart Like a Truck.” When she turned around to “Straight Up Sideways,” she was joined by the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, who danced.

Wilson ended her set with “Wildflowers and Wild Horses.”

People who don’t normally listen to country music were equally impressed. “I don’t follow country, but that was one of the best halftime acts I’ve seen in person. They sounded great, well done,” said one user.
Wilson and Jelly weren’t the only country acts on Thanksgiving. Shaboozey took the field during the Detroit Lions’ halftime game against the Chicago Bears for a performance that likely left the crowd tipsy.
The Cowboys defeated the Giants 27-20, leading the New York team to a 2-10 record this season.
