Set against a rural backdrop and picturesque haze, the two artists play an intrepid guitar-loving, gun-wielding couple as they bond over life’s trials fearlessly.

“Tough as a scratch on a pair of old leather boots / Like a blue collar, red dirty attitude / Like a .38 made of brass / Tough as the stuff in your grandfather’s glass,” Del Rey sings breathlessly on the song’s chorus.

The video shows her and Quavo in love with each other as they share cozy bear hugs outside their rustic mansion and cuddle under the sun on a grassy field. One scene even shows the singer-rapper pair teasing each other, while another shows Del Rey lovingly sitting on her collaborator’s lap on the porch of their cottage, holding a guitar.

“Tell me how hard it is for you / Like a coin on the strings and your good old Gibson guitar,” the duo switch up the single’s second verse. “Like the songs your mama sings you / And the way it makes you tell the truth / If you come from where you came, then you were born strong.”

Earlier this year, Del Rey announced plans to release a country album titled 2024 Lasso, expected to arrive sometime in September. Per Boardhitmaker shared the news of her upcoming 10th studio album during the Billboard x NMPA Songwriter Awards.
