Lana Del Rey is loving life as a newly married woman!
On Sunday, September 29, the “Young and Beautiful” singer, 39, went out on a date night in Louisiana with her new husband, Jeremy Dufrene. During the outing, she flashed a glimpse of her glittering wedding ring as the pair sat cuddled up together.
At one point, Del Rey planted a sweet kiss on Dufrene’s hand as they chatted and appeared to take a few selfies. In order to maintain the wedding atmosphere, the musician wore a white lace minidress combined with a light washed denim shirt and white ballet flats.

Del Rey and Dufrene tied the knot on Thursday, Sept. 26, in Des Allemandes, Louisiana, at the public bay where he works as a captain at Airboat Tours by Arthur, PEOPLE confirmed. Just days before, on September 23rd, the couple received a marriage license from the Lafourche Parish Clerk of Court in Louisiana.
In the wedding photos he published Daily MailDel Rey wore a floor-length white dress with a plunging neckline. She wore her hair tied with a blue ribbon.
According to media reports, she was escorted to the altar by her father, Robert Grant, while carrying a bouquet of flowers. Her siblings, Caroline Grant and Charlie Hill-Grant, were also in attendance.
After the wedding, a source told PEOPLE, “The ceremony and reception were held on the same bay where Jeremy runs his swamp boat trips.”

A source said the location has “special” meaning for the couple, as it is where they first met. “It’s a special place for them,” the insider said, adding: “It was a nice, relaxed, family-focused wedding. The focus was just on their love story.”
The “Video Games” singer has known Dufrene since at least 2019. At the time, she shared photos with him on Facebook after one of his tours with the Gators. She captioned the post: “Jeremy will be captaining Arthur’s Air Boat Tours.”

A source told PEOPLE that the couple “reconnected earlier this year” after they first met in Louisiana a few years ago.

Jeremy is different from the men Lana meets in the entertainment world, the source explained. “He’s a great guy. He’s charming and charismatic in a Southern way, a real gentleman, and he treats Lana very well. She’s an old soul.”
