Sánchez said she was ‘overwhelmed with love and gratitude’ ahead of her 54th birthday
Lauren Sánchez is celebrating her 54th birthday in style.
The Emmy Award-winning journalist and fiancée of Jeff Bezos shared a series of photos on Instagram on Monday in which she and a group of friends can be seen clad in various red dresses and posing together on what appears to be a luxury yacht.
Sánchez stepped out in a stunning floor-length lingerie-inspired gown with cleavage, while the rest of the group, who she referred to as “the family,” wore a variety of other crimson gowns of varying patterns, materials and cuts.

She tagged October Gonzalez, Lydia Kives, Veronica Smiley Grazer, Jamie Sherrill, Elsa Collins and Elena S. Blair in photos before the birthday party.
“Seeing red! ❤️❤️,” Sánchez began her caption, adding, “One day before my birthday I’m overwhelmed with love and gratitude to celebrate with these amazing women who are such a big part of my life. (Some aren’t here🥲)”
Sánchez went on to note that “These women are not just friends, I consider them family, I trust them and I love them deeply. Let’s not forget that I just have a lot of fun with them too!”

She and her group posed for a series of pictures on deck, with the first three pictures showing another ship in the water in the distance. For the last picture on the carousel, Sánchez shared a coy picture of herself sticking out her tongue, accompanied by Collins and at least half a dozen lit candles.
In the comments below Sánchez’s post, many of her celebrity colleagues wished her a happy birthday.
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY!!! ❤️💋❤️,” Kim Kardashian commented.
Kim’s mother, Kris Jenner, tweeted, “Happy Birthday!!!!!!!! Enjoy every moment!!! ❤️🥰😍🥳🎂 I love you!!”

The couple has been engaged since May, and she revealed it recently Vogue profile that she “100 percent” plans to take over his name.
“I’m looking forward to being Mrs. Bezos,” Sánchez told the newspaper.
She also revealed that Christian Dior, Dolce & Gabbana and Valentino are among her favorite fashion houses to consider for her wedding dress.
“There are so many amazing designers!” she said, adding, “When I get a minute, I’ll slow down.”
